    Before today I'd only seen the work/reddit comic but I'm slowly making my way through them all as between the love of reddit/dinosaur t-shirts/cats/meat and farting it's like reading comics of my own life. I think we'd get on well!

    David's right, the cat is not where he was in panel three, and there is nothing covering the original location. However, if you look at panel four carefully, you can see that that same cat has bounded down to the bottom of the frame. Presumably, he's simply curious about what sort of paint is needed to paint animated cats on canvas.
